This pipe is better for more heavy duty application. It is also thicker than the 2 3/8″ or 2 7/8″ and is generally more useful for a car port or fencing for larger animals or big game fencing. Any pipe with an outside diameter over 2 inches is always referred to by it’s outside diameter.
